Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Center of Texas is one of only few state-licensed surgical facilities in Texas. Many people don't know, but any physician with a current medical license and an office can perform plastic surgery. Cosmetic surgeons at the Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Center of Texas are state certified by the Board of Plastic Surgery, and never "cut corners".  The team of cosmetic surgeons at the Surgery Center of Texas are head up by cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Robert D. Wilcox.

Dr. Wilcox opened his private practice in Northern Dallas, Texas in 1992, and remains active in the teaching of cosmetic surgery as Clinical Assistant Professor at Southwestern Medical School.
